Toshio Yoshizumi
Mr Yoshizumi obtained a Bachelor of Science from Kansai Gakuin University, Dept. of Economics in 1961. He began at the Yamaha Corporation, formerly Nippon Gakki Seizo and served as manager of stores in Ginza (Tokyo), Shinsaibashi (Osaka) and Kobe. He then worked with the Yamaha Music Foundation which worked to increase public interest in music in the capacity of Manager, Osaka Office, and Director of Artist Promotion. In November 1997 he joined the Japan Association of Classical Music Presenters (JACMP) as Secretary General and presently serves the Association as General Director.
His other activities include: Osaka International Chamber Music Competition and Festival (Executive Committee member); Sendai International Competition (Committee member); Foundation for Promotion of Music Industry and Culture (Trustee) and currently serves on the IAMA Board of Directors.
