Christian May: Treasurer
CHRISTIAN MAY was born in Munich. He studied composition and conducting in Munich, Vienna and London as well as Law in Vienna and London. Following his studies he worked as musical assistant and later as a tour manager for various opera and orchestra tours.
In 1991 Christian May founded the concert agency MELOS KONZERTE which is based in Vienna and Munich. The agency's focus is the representation and general management of a series of conductors and soloists as well as the organization of orchestra tours throughout Europe.
Christian May is artistic advisor for a number of festivals and orchestras in Europe and South America. He also acted as jury member for various competitions in Switzerland, Italy, Mexico and Portugal. Since 1994 MELOS KONZERTE /Christian May is member of the 'International Artist Managers Association ¯ IAMA’.
